 \nAcross the Mountain Sky Conference\, communities continue to face an esp
 ecially difficult summer of wildfire\, extreme heat\, drought and flooding
 .\n \nIn Colorado\, the Aspen Acres Fire has burned nearly 100\,000 acres
  and destroyed more than 775 structures in Pueblo and Custer counties\, wh
 ile other major fires continue near Ouray\, Cortez and Leadville. In Utah\
 , the Cottonwood and Babylon fires have ranked among the largest and most 
 destructive wildfires in the country this season. Northern Montana continu
 es recovering from significant flooding around Glacier National Park\, whi
 le extreme heat\, drought and dry thunderstorms are increasing wildfire co
 ncerns across our region.\nThe need is great—and United Methodists are r
 esponding.\nThroughout the month of August\, we will be collecting Fire Bu
